A History of Harmony
The 2022-2023 academic year marks 50 years of music education at Humber College. What began as a single three-year diploma program at Humber’s North Campus has grown to an ecosystem of five Lakeshore-based credential and non-credential offerings that foster excellence in music at every level and interest.
To mark this auspicious milestone and herald the beginning of the next 50 years, Humber Music kicked off a year of celebrations on March 31, 2023, with an evening of jazz music featuring a student band (Carandang Pincente Jazz Orchestra), the Laila Biali Trio, and a collection of current and former Humber Music faculty performing as the Humber 50th Anniversary Band.
